Youth Ministry

One of our Youth Events – a trip to Jungle Jim’s!

CPC Youth exists to be a welcoming community where students from 6th-12th grade are equipped to know Christ and make Christ known through the teaching of Scripture, discipleship, and fellowship in the local church.

With the ever-changing and flexible schedule of youth ministry, the best way to keep in touch and see what we’ve got going on is to join our weekly email. If you would like to receive weekly updates, please reach out to CPC’s Assistant Pastor of Youth and Families, David Chambers, and we will get you set up right away!

Here are our regular weekly events:

Youth Sunday School

Youth Sunday School meets in the Church Library. Sunday School takes a break during the summer months.

Our main focus during this time is to teach students the deeper doctrines of the Scriptures in order to prepare them as they move into adulthood and give them tools to defend their faith. All students are welcome!

Youth Group at the YMCA

During the school year, Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings at the Richmond YMCA from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. This time is aimed at building community in the Youth Group through games, fellowship, a talk, snacks, and small group discussion. We welcome any students from 6th-12th grade to join us!
